Sigma Pi has been instrumental in my education and development as a person.
The life lessons learned and friendships made during my time as an active remain with me,
and I often look to them in my daily life. The projects we accomplished during my time
taught me the importance of strong leadership, personal management, and responsibility. We rebuilt the booths in the bar of 805, we rebuilt both porches on 803, we put in the volleyball court, and we built the concrete letters in front of the chapter house.
After doing that, along with the day-to-day management of the house, I feel I can accomplish any project that is in front of me. The relationships I made continue to be an influence in my life, and I am fortunate enough to remain in contact with several alumni from all eras. I credit my time as an active for the most valuable lessons and friendships that I have. Valpo gave me a diploma, but Sigma Pi taught me what I needed to be successful in life.
Jeff lives in Chandler, Arizona, with his wife, Jenn, and sons, John and James. He works
